This is my 9th season as Head coach of the mens and womens ski teams at Alfred University. In 9 seasons the men advanced 6 times and the women 5 times to USCSA National Championships. The mens best finish was in 2001 finishing 9th at Bogus Basin in Idaho. The womens best finish was 6th at Sunday River Maine.. We train at swain ski center. Our season consists of 10 meets. We race at Labrador Mtn., Swain ski center, Whiteface Mtn., Toggenburg Mtn., and Song Mtn. Both teams competed at Regional Championships at Labrador and Toggenburg. Both teams advanced to National Championships at Sunday River, Maine. The women dominated for the second year and swept regionals. At Nationals the women finished 5th in GS and 8th in SL, 6th overall in the country. Lauren Pfeifer and Elissa Degolyer were all americans in gs and Elissa was all american combined. 2008  The ladies qualified to National Championships at Winter Park, CO. Lauren Pfeifer earned all-american combined honors.  nice job ladies
